Everything is better when you screen print.

Inspired by the beautiful Japanese architecture and Koi pond at the Memphis Botanic Garden this screen printed poster helped to promote the annual Live at the Garden concert series. The subtle curves, straight lines and look of the Japanese bridge on the garden grounds, became the starting point of the typography look and feel. The overlapping fish in a Koi pond lent itself perfectly to an idea of overlapping text and shapes.
